JAL Mileage Bank - JMB DIAMOND (For Our Most Frequent Flyers)

JMB DIAMOND - JMB DIAMOND is the highest membership tier in the JMB FLY ON Program, offering services and benefits to enable you to enjoy your travel to the fullest.

JMB members who have accrued at least 100,000 FLY ON Points on JAL Group airlines and/or oneworld member airlines in one calendar year will be enrolled in JMB DIAMOND.

"JMB DIAMOND" members can also use the oneworld EMERALD Services.

Applicable to the numbers of boarded JAL Group flights with fares eligible for JMB mileage accumulation.
You must take 4 JAL Group flights with fares eligible for JMB mileage accumulation during the applicable year.

Note:

“JMB DIAMOND” is not given in duplication with other services of “JAL Global Club”.

The period of services introduced are as indicated below. [From 2 Months After] - Services and benefits available from two months after the date of accumulating sufficient Fly On Points. Valid through March 31 of second year following membership qualification. [From April 1 of Next Year] - Services and benefits available from April 1 of the following year after accumulating sufficient Fly On Points. Valid through March 31 of second year following membership qualification.

When your preferred JAL Group flight is fully booked, priority waitlisting will apply based on the type of fares. When your preferred oneworld member airlines flights are fully booked, priority waitlisting will also apply at the respective oneworld member reservation centers.

JMB DIAMOND members will receive an additional 125% sector bonus miles on JAL Group airlines flights when travelling with eligible fares during the eligible period.

Mile-Up Bonus is not awarded in duplication with JALCARD Bonus Miles.

Generally, the validity of the mileage is until the end of the 36th month after the boarding (transaction) date. Mileage expiration will be suspended during JMB DIAMOND period. (This means miles will not expire during that period.)

When your service status is changed from JMB DIAMOND, all mileage in your account at that time will be valid until the end of the 36th month after the date of service status change.

Exclusive benefits for JMB Diamond status members During the campaign period, if award seats are not available, JMB Diamond members can redeem for double mileage the standard required mileage for JAL Gourp Domestic/International Award Tickets.

Airport lounge service is available when flying on JAL Group airlines flights.

Lounge access for the member and one traveling companion upon presentation of the “DIAMOND” card.
First Class Lounges are available in Narita, New York and London Airports.

Access to the high-grade DIAMOND / PREMIER LOUNGE in Haneda(TOKYO) Airport for member and one traveling companion upon presentation of the DIAMOND card, when flying on Japan Domestic routes.

Members will receive three transferable airport lounge coupons.
(First Class Lounge and DIAMOND · PREMIER LOUNGE access is not permitted.)

Members can take a third and a fourth companion to the airport lounge using two airport lounge coupons issued in exchange for 4,000 JMB Miles. Airport lounge coupons must be requested and received prior to travel.
(First Class Lounge and DIAMOND / PREMIER LOUNGE access is not permitted.)

Maximum of four persons (including the member and traveling companions) are allowed for a single entrance to the lounge.(excluding First Class Lounge and “DIAMOND /PREMIER LOUNGE”)
Please present one lounge coupon per person for each use of the lounge.
Please note that there are fares, routes and flights to which this service may not apply.

When you fly with oneworld member airlines, you can use their lounges located in approximately 550 airports worldwide. The member and one traveling companion are allowed to enter the lounge.

For details of lounges when flying on oneworld member airlines flights, please ask the airport staff of respective airlines at the time of check-in.
Lounge access by using lounge coupon is not permitted.

When flying with oneworld member airlines, you can use the priority check-in counter indicating oneworld tier status.

You can use following counters if First class counters are not available.
International flights:Executive class counters
Japan domestic flights:JAL Global Club(JGC) check-in counters
Service may not be available at some airports or for flights.

JMB DIAMOND members can collect their baggage before other passengers at baggage claim.

In addition to the standard checked baggage allowance, JMB DIAMOND members are allowed to check two extra pieces of checked baggage (or up to 20kg extra baggage where baggage allowance is based on the weight system) at no extra charge.

Priority Check-in, Priority Baggage Service, Extra Checked Baggage Allowance are available for members only. Not available for code-share flights operated by partner airlines.
Priority Baggage Service and Extra Checked Baggage Allowance are not available when the baggage is checked through to/from flights operated by other airlines.

By presenting the DIAMOND card and boarding pass, the members have the privilege to board prior to the general boarding, on JAL Group flights or on oneworld member airlines flight.

Service may not be available at some airports or for flights.

By presenting the DIAMOND card, priority standby will apply when you wait for a seat on JAL Group Airlines flight or on oneworld member airlines flight at the airport on departure day.

For Japan domestic flights, standby number for the highest priority seat standby level “S” is applicable to First Class, Class J and regular seats.
This service may not be available at some airports or for flights, and may not be available in the event of bad weather such as typhoon and heavy snow.

By presenting the DIAMOND card and boarding pass, the member and one traveling companion can use the exclusive security check service "JAL Fast Security Lane", when they fly on JAL Group Airlines' international flights departing from Narita Airport Terminal 2.

This service is available when members fly on a code-share flight bearing a JAL flight number and operated by the partner airlines departing from Narita Airport Terminal 2. However, this service is not available when members fly on a code-share flight bearing a flight number of partner airlines and operated by JAL.

Members can upgrade to the next higher class of service on JAL international/JALways flights by using those certificates. Economy Class can be upgraded to Executive Class or Executive Class to First Class for international flights. Upgrade Points are transferable to the member's family.

Two hotel coupons will be mailed to members. Members are entitled to a complimentary stay at JAL HOTELS or other participating partner hotels (standard twin single or double room).
Each coupon is valid for one night. Coupons are transferable to the member's family.

This Hotel Coupon can be also be used for in-flight purchases from April 1, 2008 through March 31, 2009 (flight date).

●This coupon ( equivalent to ￥15,000） can be used for in-flight purchases (except JAL SHOP mail order items) on JAL, JALways and JAL Express flights.

●This coupon cannot be changed into cash and no refund in cash will be given if the amount of this coupon exceeds the purchase price. Once this coupon is used, it cannot be refunded.

Eligible hotels may differ by the types of hotel coupons.

Members can enjoy Century 21 Club free of charge, located in the Imperial Hotel, the Ginza
Nikko Hotel and the New Takanawa Prince Hotel (food, beverages and taxes are not included). Valid for use by JGC members only.
